Bridgewater-Raritan High School Students Shine at 2025 FBLA National Leadership Conference in California

Bridgewater, New Jersey – A group of talented students from Bridgewater-Raritan High School recently showcased their skills and creativity at the 2025 FBLA National Leadership Conference in sunny Anaheim, California. The excitement was palpable as the team of 28 young leaders participated in this prestigious event held from June 27 to July 3.

These enthusiastic students are members of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club, where they’ve been honing their skills in business, leadership, and collaboration. Their hard work and dedication paid off as they qualified for the national conference through their impressive performances at regional and state competitions. Qualifying for such a big event is no simple task; it requires grit, determination, and a flair for business.

With the support of their FBLA Co-Advisors, Keriann Fry and Mike Bittner, the students set off on this unforgettable journey, surrounded by over 15,000 other members from across the country. Can you imagine the energy in a crowded convention center filled with aspiring business leaders? It must have been electrifying!

Outstanding Achievement

Among the many competitions, a few students truly stood out with their exceptional performances, taking home accolades that highlighted their hard work and dedication. Natalie Chen secured an impressive 3rd place in Business Law, while Vedaang Verma also captured 3rd place, but in Data Analysis. Likewise, Vrishank Madishetty made waves with his 4th place finish in Intro to Programming. Additionally, Anvay Ajmera and Rishi Khanna claimed 7th and 8th places in Website Design and Intro to Business Procedures respectively.

These achievements are not just numbers; they reflect the incredible effort that goes into mastering complex concepts and presenting them in a competitive setting. For Anvay Ajmera, learning website development through FBLA has been an invaluable experience, opening doors to new skills that will benefit him in the future.

Fun Beyond the Competition

While the students were there primarily for business, the trip also included plenty of fun! A unique highlight was the pin trading activity, where students swapped pins representing their home states and territories. This engaging experience not only encouraged camaraderie but also allowed students to connect with peers from across the nation. Imagine trading pins while chatting about your respective schools, hobbies, and aspirations—what a cool way to build friendships!

To cap off their adventure, the team enjoyed a day at Disneyland Park, indulging in thrilling rides and unforgettable bonding experiences. From roller coasters to iconic attractions, the final day brought smiles, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. It was the perfect way to conclude a conference filled with learning and growth.

A Memorable Experience

For both the Co-Advisors and the participating students, the conference was more than just a competition; it was a journey of personal connections and professional development. The chance to network with other young leaders, explore new ideas, and share experiences is invaluable.

Overall, the participation of Bridgewater-Raritan High School’s FBLA chapter at the national conference highlighted the excellence in business leadership and various disciplines that they represent. It’s heartening to see students rise to the occasion and excel, proving that the future looks bright for the next generation of business leaders.
