Exciting Developments in School Construction

Now here’s some big news: Orange County Public Schools has big plans for the future! A new school, with a budget of $38.22 million, is being developed to accommodate up to 837 students from Pre-K to fifth grade. This amazing facility will be located in the fast-growing Horizon West area along Westhaven Oak Drive.

The new campus aims to help alleviate overcrowding at Water Springs Elementary School, which is currently bursting at the seams with over 1,391 students enrolled. It’s exciting to see the community expanding, with plans to create a nurturing space for future generations!

Feeding Our Future: No-Cost Summer Meals

And if you’re looking for ways to keep the kids fed this summer, don’t miss out on the no-cost summer meals program! Offered to children aged 18 and younger and students with disabilities up to 21 years old, this program provides meals Monday through Friday, giving both breakfast and lunch options.
