Fullerton, CA – Cal State Fullerton (CSUF) has been recognized as one of the Best Global Universities for its research in social sciences and public health by a recent ranking from U.S. News & World Report. In the 2025-26 edition, CSUF secured the 700th position for its research in these fields, highlighting its contribution to academic scholarship and community development.
This ranking is part of U.S. News’ ongoing efforts to evaluate global academic institutions based on their research output and reputation. For the current edition, a total of 2,250 universities from 105 countries were analyzed, showcasing the competitive landscape of higher education worldwide.
In addition to its notable ranking in social sciences and public health, CSUF’s overall global standing improved from 1,067 in the previous year to 1,028 for 2025-26. The university also performed well in other areas, such as regional research reputation, where it ranked 243rd, and in the percentage of highly cited papers, standing at 285th. These rankings reflect the university’s robust academic output and the increasing recognition of its research initiatives.

While tickets will not be required for the all-university event, they will be necessary for college-specific ceremonies.
