Meanwhile, Tabitha Martinez has focused her research on the human impacts affecting coastal hermit crabs.

Noteworthy honorary doctorates will be awarded during the ceremonies including Vikki Vargas, a CSUF alumna and former NBC news bureau chief, as well as Martha Blanding, a Disney Legends Award recipient.
