A Week Full of Ceremonies

The first ceremonies took place on Tuesday, May 20, featuring graduates from Katella High School and Cypress High School. Notably, a total of ten separate commencement ceremonies are scheduled to take place at Handel Stadium this week, concluding on Friday. It’s a fantastic opportunity for friends and family to gather, show their support, and cheer on the graduates as they step into a new chapter of their lives.

Prior to this week’s big events, smaller celebrations were held for Cambridge Virtual Academy and Hope School, allowing students from those institutions to shine in their own right. The festivities carry on beyond Anaheim, as several other local school districts prepare to honor their graduates next week, generating a sense of unity as many young learners reach this important milestone together.

What’s Next On The Graduation Calendar

Garden Grove Unified, Santa Ana Unified, Tustin Unified, and Fullerton Joint Union High School Districts. As June approaches, even more schools, like Brea Olinda Unified, Capistrano Unified, and Irvine Unified, will host their own celebrations. The big day culminates on June 5 with a whopping 20 public high schools across Orange County hosting ceremonies!

The graduation season will wrap up on June 11 and 12, featuring institutions such as the Huntington Beach Union High School District, Laguna Beach Unified, Orange Unified, and Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified schools. What a way to celebrate the road each student has traveled!

729 graduates! These talented students came together, earning over $9 million in scholarships—a testament to their diligence in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. And what a fantastic way to recognize all their achievements! Valencia College, Florida State University, and University of Central Florida among many others.
