In a fantastic display of teamwork, Animo De La Hoya notched a significant victory over Animo Bunche, finishing with a staggering score of 18-4. The players really seemed to connect well, lighting up the scoreboard as they played with confidence and flair. Meanwhile, Animo Leadership took the excitement up a notch, outscoring Compton Early College 30-5! That’s right, thirty runs! It was a day to remember for Animo schools, leaving them soaring high in the competition.
In other notable games, Anaheim clinched a solid win against Orange with a clear 5-0, showing their strength on the field. Apple Valley also added to the list of winners, decisively beating Serrano with a score of 12-1. Teams are clearly finding their rhythm as they push toward the peak of the season.
Not every game was a blowout, though! Azusa faced off against Duarte in a close encounter that ended with a score of 18-13. The fans must have been on the edge of their seats as the teams exchanged leads like it was a fierce boxing match! On the flip side, Baldwin Park celebrated a comfortable shutout victory against Sierra Vista, winning 21-0 – a mighty statement for the reigning champs.
Further down the scoreboard, teams like Beckman and Big Bear had contrasting fortunes. Beckman proved their mettle against Ontario Christian, winning 5-2, while Big Bear succumbed to a tough loss against Excelsior Charter with a score of 14-3.
