Los Angeles, CA – The LA Kings have officially announced their complete preseason schedule for the 2025-26 NHL season, which features seven games set to take place in seven different cities. The team will face off against three opponents: the Anaheim Ducks, Vegas Golden Knights, and Utah Mammoth.
The preseason opener is scheduled for Sunday, September 21, against the Anaheim Ducks. This match will take place at Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA, starting at 3:00 PM PT. Following this initial game, the Kings will have a busy few days with matches lined up against the Golden Knights and the Ducks once again, before heading out for their final games against the Mammoth.
This year’s preseason marks the Kings’ return to Crypto.com Arena for an exhibition game for the first time since 2023. The game on October 4 against the Ducks will be one of the few home games this preseason, with the Kings technically being the home team in three of the scheduled matches.
Tickets for the preseason opener, branded as the “Empire Classic,” on September 21 are currently available for purchase through axs.com and ontarioreign.com. For fans attending the neutral-site games in Bakersfield and Boise, tickets can be bought at dignityhealtharena.com and idahocentralarena.com respectively. Additional details about ticketing can be found at lakings.com/memberships and lakings.com/preseason.
While the specific broadcast information for the preseason games has yet to be released, fans are encouraged to keep an eye out for updates.
Six of the seven preseason games will be played outside of Los Angeles, a continuation of a trend observed in the previous season when the Kings began their schedule with seven consecutive road matches. The regular season schedule is anticipated to be unveiled around mid-July, post NHL draft and free agency activity.
This year, the Kings aim to conduct a more conventional training camp at their facility in El Segundo, which will help prepare the team for what they hope will be a successful season moving forward.
